The primary role of the Digital Illustrator is to create and execute high-end digital illustration, hi-res art, animations and multi-media assignments. The work must be done in a technically flawless manner from which world-class communications can be produced and presented. To meet this goal, it is critical for the DI to be able to partner with agency team members in Creative, Print Production, Art Production and Project Management. Key Responsibilities Internal to N-GEN Studios: Efficiently build technically accurate artwork; Identify potential project issues and questions and proactively propose or seek out the correct solutions; Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with peers and other agency departments; Display and maintain strong customer-service skills and attitude; Exhibit excellent communication skills. Client Partnership: Support all N-GEN Clients in their needs regarding client service, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client requests; Learn and understand all client and account nuances. Including, but not limited to: client logo and product parameters, templates, production requirements and preferences. Fiscal Responsibility: Be able to build artwork efficiently enough to be individually profitable for N-GEN Studios, and effectively enough for the clients and vendors to be able to reproduce the communication without errors or incremental expense. Personal Leadership and Development: Earn the respect and dependence of team members in all departments; Develop camaraderie with the Project Managers, Creative, Print Production and promote a team environment; Consistently demonstrate pro-active behavior, flexibility, commitment, professional maturity and dependability. Display cheerful, willing and can-do attitude in all situations. Qualifications: MUST HAVE a portfolio demonstrating digital illustration skills as well as traditional styles and methods; MUST HAVE excellent technical knowledge of pre-press requirements; A minimum of 3 years experience within an agency, design firm, or in-house graphics service or illustration/compositing experience is required; Orientated to detail; Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of color and retouching Computer Skills: Excellent hardware and software skills are essential (all skills must be relevant to the most current versions of both hardware and software) Macintosh platform: Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Lightwave 3D Adobe After Effects Freehand Drawing Skills Please apply if you meet these requirements and are ready to get on the fast track in a dynamic, fast-paced agency.
